My featured gallery this week is “simple by design” A collection of simple, almost minimalistic photography.
Getting back to simplicity by taking some snaps with my iphone. By uploading them to “instagram” and using the variety of filters they provide, ordinary shots can be turned into works of art…….. Well, maybe not works of art, but they’re pretty cool.

A few more images have been added to the galleries.
This is a reworking of an earlier image of mine. I’ve renamed it also.
This is the original version.
An old sailing vessel at Sydney. Second image texture added.

“the invasion” is a group of trees I found captivating at Shoreham Beach on the Mornington Peninsula. They are quite mysterious and seem totally out of place along side the beach.
“the awakening” is a budding agapanthus plant. I added a second layer for texture and effect.
“timeless teardrops” is of a hibiscus flower after a rain shower. I changed the colour by adding multi layers working in photoshop until I was happy with the result.
