My featured gallery this week is “simple by design” A collection of simple, almost minimalistic photography.
new work – seascape
Eternal…. Four image panorama.
Bass Strait, Mornington Peninsula
Available for purchase “here”
I discovered a wonderful new world of macro water photography recently while washing my car. The fine water spray coming to rest on the roof and windows caught my eye as they glistened in the sun.
Here are some of the results.
I kind of got carried away with the photographing and as a result, the car is still dirty! All images are available for purchase by clicking on the image and following the prompts or simply by contacting me.
I’ve added a whole lot of new work into the galleries. Here are just a few.
like a rainbow…..
A reflective view of the NAB (National Australia Bank) building at Docklands, Melbourne, Australia. In the “creative reality” gallery.
This was taken at the Forbidden City, Beijing, China. In the “simple by design” gallery.
I was playing around with some nails and a macro filter on my lens. In the “mostly monotone” gallery.
Cape Schanck lighthouse, Mornington Peninsula, Australia. In the “land & seascapes” gallery.
This is from a series of images I did on this theme. More can be seen in the “simple by design” gallery.
I’ve been busy lately producing a limited number of original images which I am now offering for sale. They come custom framed, matted, numbered and signed and printed on quality Hahnemühle, Baryta Fine Art Paper. This paper sets the benchmark for high colour depth, large colour gamut and image definition. This paper gives the”wow” factor particularly to black and white prints with an extremely high dmax and the finest grey tones.
These images are offered in a limited edition run, between 20 and 40 prints only, and come with a certificate of authenticity.
If you’re in Melbourne and you wish to view these framed prints, please email me at email@example.com to arrange an appointment.
You can view these limited edition prints here.
“the invasion” is a group of trees I found captivating at Shoreham Beach on the Mornington Peninsula. They are quite mysterious and seem totally out of place along side the beach.
“the awakening” is a budding agapanthus plant. I added a second layer for texture and effect.
“timeless teardrops” is of a hibiscus flower after a rain shower. I changed the colour by adding multi layers working in photoshop until I was happy with the result.
