photo gallery update

I’ve added a few new works to the galleries.  Please take a look.

Luciano…..

This is Luciano, one of my three Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.  He’s a real poser and loves having his photo taken.  He’s 15 months old and a bit of a terror at times.

downtown…..

This is a section of Melbourne City taken from the Eureka Tower.  I’ve given it a sepia tone and slight second image texture to age it a bit.

St Andrews…..

This is a two image panorama taken at St Andrews Beach, Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia.  The light that day had a beautiful softness about it.

the treeline…..

This was taken in the hills around Boneo, Mornington Peninsula, Australia.  I’ve added lighting in photoshop and a second image texture plus contrast.

chaos…..

This image is from the hills surrounding Cape Schanck, Mornington Peninsula, Australia.  The hills are bare and roll beautifully.  The texture I have added creates a kind of a chaotic fury approaching behind the hills.

new work in photo gallery

From my series on Chinese images, these miniature replica statues are of China’s famous Terracotta Army.  The original’s are life size and number around 8000. They were buried underground at the entrance of China’s first Emperor, Qinshihuang’s tomb to protect him in the afterlife.  They were modeled on actual citizens of the time and no two are the same.

“the warrior”

“the emperor’s army”

These two images compliment each other and are available for sale here.
