My latest images are at total opposites to each other.
“Driftwood” is a simple composition set in the natural surrounds of a beach setting. It was taken at Safety Beach along the Morinington Peninsula, Australia.
“under the wire – forgotten” on the other hand is an urban landscape of a neglected and abandoned factory set in inner Melbourne, Australia. It has been heavily processed with texture and selective colouring.
“Dream” was taken in January this year near the entrance of the National Golf Course at Cape Schanck. Originally with a bright blue sky, I added a concrete texture to give a dreamlike effect
“Ethereal” was taken from the balcony at Cape Schanck, Victoria, Australia early this year. This was taken at the same time as “a word from above”. the sky was absolutely amazing with colour and light. This is virtually as it was captured in the camera with only a slight contrast adjustment in photoshop.
“Grasslands” was taken in the sand dunes of the Rosebud foreshore, Victoria, Australia. Originally the sky was dull and overcast so I played around with levels and contrasts in photoshop then added a second image background layer to take the image away from the seaside setting.
“The beginning in blue” was taken at the same time as “ethereal”. I changed the colour balance in the camera to achieve the blue colouring.
