I first became interested in photography in primary school and went on to study it in high school. I had always wanted to be a photographer but then at the last minute did an about face and got into the television industry instead. As my career progressed, photography took a back seat until the last few years where I’ve rediscovered what I loved about it in the first place and am really enjoying it all over again!
It’s so much easier these days with digital compared with the messy chemicals and trying to light proof a room.
With video you have as much time as you like to tell a story, with a photo, you have only one frame.
I hope you get as much enjoyment from looking as I do creating it.
Please feel free to leave your comments or constructive criticism. They will be most appreciated.
It’s all fun!
My latest gallery to be featured is the “waterworks” gallery. Everything to do with water can be found in this gallery, sea, boating, animals, beach, macro work is all in there. A lot of the images were taken around the Docklands area in Melbourne, Australia, others around the Mornington Peninsula. Click on the image below to see the full collection on my website, http://www.galleriamancuso.com
I will begin featuring one of my galleries on a weekly basis. This week’s feature is the “land and seascape” gallery. Works are sourced from around Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula, Point Cook and surrounds and Beijing, China.
